The Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician program is an 8-12 week program that prepares students for careers in Sterile Processing and Endoscope Reprocessing. Graduates are eligible for two CBSPD exams (Technician II & GI Scope). Upon passing the CBSPD exam, graduates are eligible for externship at no extra cost.
Sterile Processing and Distribution Technicians (aka Sterile Techs, Central Processing Techs) are responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and distributing medical equipment. They are the most impactful defense against the spread of diseases in healthcare facilities.
Our program is designed to prepare you for two CBSPD certification exams and the rigor of the healthcare industry. You do not need any prior education or experience in the healthcare industry or the medical field to enroll. We offer a variety of schedules – you can choose the one that works best for you!

To enroll in this course, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. You must provide a valid government ID upon enrolling. Background checks are mandatory in externships.
