Enrollment Deadlines Begin in April 2026
At Altamont Healthcare, we strive to provide a quality experience from the moment you inquire about our programs to the day you graduate (and beyond!). Balancing finances, getting your schedule in order, and completing the enrollment process may be a lot to handle all at once, so we’ve decided to enforce enrollment deadlines for all future classes.
How Will This Improve the Student Experience?
Our admissions team noticed a high level of student stress in the week leading up to the class start date, particularly among students who enroll at the last minute. These applicants are often trying to submit required documents, complete prerequisites, figure out finances, and balance their schedules in the week leading up to the class. Last-minute applicants may also miss the class orientation that occurs one week before the class start date. Missing orientation can make students feel left behind before the class even starts.
When Are the Enrollment Deadlines?
For classes starting in April, the enrollment deadline will be 1 week before the class start date, which is orientation day. Below are the enrollment deadlines for classes starting in April 2026:
- SPD TTH Day Class: April 21, 2026
- EKG Day Class: April 13, 2026
For classes starting in May and beyond, the enrollment deadline will begin 2 weeks before the class starts. This ensures that students will have plenty of time to prepare for class and can attend orientation on time. Below are the enrollment deadlines for our Summer 2026 classes starting in May-July:
- SPD Night Class: May 4, 2026
- SPD Weekend Class: May 8, 2026
- SPD MWF Class 2: May 18, 2026
- EKG Weekend Class: May 29, 2026
- TS-C Day Class: July 6, 2026
- TS-C Night Class: July 6, 2026
Can I Enroll If I Miss the Deadline?
We will allow enrollment after the deadline on a case-by-case basis, but we cannot guarantee your acceptance & you may miss the class orientation date.
